David is the established leader of The Philly KEF Band. An accomplished violin player at an early age, Dave has moved on to the oud, following in the footsteps of his father, who is also the maker of Dave's oud. Dave possesses an uncanny ability to learn music at an incredible pace, and his drive has influenced the band's rise during the past few years. David has an extensive library of hundreds of traditional and modern recordings that have helped us expand our repertoire, as well as learn the correct methods for performing many different types of Middle Eastern songs. |
